    1 cup chopped onion
    1 tbsp. olive oil
    1 lb. ground turkey
    no-salt diced tomatoes, 14.5 oz. can
    chili beans, 15 oz. can
    chopped green chiles, 4 oz. can, drained
    chili powder, to taste
    hot sauce or pepper, if desired, to taste


Heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the turkey and brown well. Add the onion and stir. Add the diced tomatoes and liquid. Add the chili beans and liquid. Add the green chiles. Stir well and lower temperature to low. Stir in the chili powder and hot sauce, if desired. Continue cooking over low, uncovered, for 1 hour.
