Introduction

Basic biscuits for everyday. Basic biscuits for everyday.
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. white flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    5 Tbsp. butter
    7/8 to 1 cup milk

Directions

Place whole wheat flour in bowl.
Sift remaining dry ingredients together into bowl.
Use pastry cutter to cut in butter.
Add milk gradually and mix until dough pulls together and away from sides of bowl (sometimes the amount of milk needs to be adjusted).
Pat or roll out and cut with biscuit cutter or pizza roller.
Place on baking sheet or pie tin and bake at 425 degrees F 15-20 minutes or until top is golden.


Serving Size: Makes 9 biscuits.
