    Bloom yeast in hot water with honey.

    mix dry ingredients and set aside

    when ready, use dough hook on mixer. add yeast and wet ingredients and melted butter

    add grains, using 1.5 cups of cooked wheat berries

    mix with hook well, turn out on floured board and knead 3-4 minutes adding a little more flour.
    let raise until double in buttered bowl.

    turn out again, divide into two loaves.

    place in well buttered pans and brush with eggs white to glue seeds on. then use flax, oats, and sunflower seeds, let rise again until double.


cook wheat berries and soak bulgur before using, let cool completely before slicing. keeps 3-4 days on counter and longer in fridge.


450 degrees at 450 degrees, and reduce immediately to 400 for 45 minutes
