Ingredients

    1/2 pound ground beef
    1/2 pound ground turkey
    2 1/2 cups elbow noodles, cooked (1/2 pkg)
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup green pepper
    2 8-ounce cans tomato sauce
    1 package taco seasoning
    3/4 cup Mexican cheese
    1/2 can refried beans

Directions

Brown meat. Saute onion and green pepper. Add meat, taco seasoning, and tomato sauce. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Stir in cooked noodles. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees in greased square pan 15-20 minutes. Top with cheese. Bake 10 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Makes about 8 cups - divide into 6 "slices"
