    16oz dry roasted, unsalted peanuts


If you prefer chunky peanut butter, set aside 1/4 cup of the chopped peanuts before processing the rest and add in during the last 15 seconds of processing.


Place peanuts in a food processor. Pulse until peanuts are chopped (approximately 2 minutes). Process on high for 20 minutes, resting about one minute every five minutes. Peanut butter is done when it is a (relatively) smooth paste. Store in sealed containers in a cool, dry place.
