    Butter, unsalted, 2 stick
    Granulated Sugar, 1.5 cup
    Extra Large egg, fresh (1 egg), 5 serving
    *Whole Wheat Flour, 5 cup
    baking powder, low-sodium-aluminum free, 4 tsp
    *Lemon Juice, 1 fl oz
    *Lemon zest ~ fresh lemon peel ` 1 tbps~ 6 g, 1 serving
    *Cardamom, 1 tsp


cream butter and sugar, add eggs until combines. In large bowl add all dry ingredients and whisk until blended, then slowly add to creamed mixture. Add lemon juice and zest. If dough is sticky place in fridge for 1 hour. take spoonful of dough and roll out into 5" long piece about circumference of your little finger, bringing ends together and overlaping a bit. place on cookie sheet covered in parchment paper, bake at 350 for 20-22 minutes. allow to rest on cookie sheet for a few minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
