    1 head of cabbage, 2C water, 1 Lb. bison, 1 onion chopped, 1 egg, 1 slice of bread broken up, 1 Tbl. poultry seasoning, salt & pepper to taste, 1/2 bottle of ketchup.


Remove each cabbage leaf and put in large pot with about 2 cups +/- of water, enough to cover leaves. Boil long enough for leaves to become tender, about 3-5 mins. Drain and let cool. In a large bowl, place bison, onion, egg, bread and poultry seasoning, salt & pepper and mix. Form into small balls and wrap each ball in a cabbagae leaf. Put a litte oil in bottom of pot and twirl around to coat bottom. Place stuffed cabbage leaves in bottom of pot. Put any leftover leaves on top and then put at least 1/2 bottle of ketchup on top of cabbage. Pour boiling water over top, just enough to cover and cook slowly for three hours. Thicken with flour and water if necessary. Serve with boiled potatoes.
