Ingredients

    1 tsp. bacon grease
a couple of very thin slices of onion or 1 Tbsp chopped.
    2 Tbsp. REAL bacon bits
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar or basalmic vinegar
    1 TBSP sugar (or splenda)

Tips

To make a wilted spinach salad, I use 2 cups of fresh spinach and mix up toppings. Usually fresh slivers of onion, chopped ham or boiled egg, cheese, almonds, strawberries or oranges or pineapple... make this as simple or complex as you would like.

Directions

In a small pan, Saute onions and bacon bits in bacon grease until onions are tender. Add in vinegar and sugar. Cook until it begins to boil. Pour over 2 cups of fresh greens.
