    12 oz elbow macaroni
    14 oz evaporated milk
    1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
    3 Tbsp corn starch
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1 Tbsp prepared mustard
    2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
    1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup soft bread crumbs, toasted


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook noodles until they are al dente.
Meanwhile, heat the evaporated milk and 1/4 cup of the milk over medium-low heat until hot.
In a small bowl, mix the corn starch with the other 1/4 cup of cold milk.
Add this mixture to the hot milk and cook, stirring continuously until thickened (probably about 3-4 minutes).
Take the mixture off the heat and add the salt, pepper, mustard and cheese.
Combine the noodles, ham and sauce.
Pour into a greased 2 1/2 quart baking sheet.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.
