My husband's favorite meatballs. My husband's favorite meatballs.
Number of Servings: 12


    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. uncooked white rice
    1/2 c water
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (15oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce


Heat over to 350 degrees. Mix meat, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salts, garlic powder and pepper in bowl. Shape mixture by rounded Tablespoonfuls into balls. Place meat balls in ungreased baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Stir together remaning ingredients; pour over meat balls. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes. Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer. Makes 12 meatballs (1 meatball=1 serving) Double this recipe for a large family, or freeze one for later!
