    for the cake:
    2 cups of sugar
    2 cups of flour
    1 teaspoon of baking soda
    2 sticks of butter
    4 tablespoons of cocoa
    1 cup of water
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup of buttermilk
    1 teaspoon of vanilla

    for the icing:
    1stick of butter
    3 tablespoons of cocoa
    6 tablespoons of buttermilk
    1 pound box of powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon of vanilla
    1 cup chopped pecans


Mix sugar, flour and baking soda in a bowl.
In a pan melt 2 sticks of butter.
Add four tablespoons of cocoa to butter and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil. Pour over the dry ingredients and stir.
Add 2 eggs slightly beaten, 1/2 cup of buttermilk and a teaspoon of vanilla.
Bake in a greased and floured cookie sheet at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.

Bring butter, cocoa and buttermilk to a boil.
Add one box of powdered sugar, a teaspoon of vanilla, and a cup of chopped pecans.
Spread it over the cake while icing is warm.
