Number of Servings: 8


    500g pack of lean ground beef
    2 tins of tesco kidney beans in chilli sauce
    One onion chopped
    1 carton of tesco passata
    1 tin of tesco value sweet corn
    Chopped mushrooms
    Chilli powder to taste
    Rice to serve


If freezing, once rice is cooked, cool immediately by rinsing under cold water then keep in fridge until chilli is cool enough to freeze. Split amount into 8 freezer containers and freeze. This also keeps well in the fridge for a couple of days.


Dry fry the beef, add onions, cook until onions have softened then add mushrooms, passata, chilli beans and sweet corn and chilli powder to taste. Simmer until hot. Serve with rice.
