    1 box pasta (any shape, regular or whole wheat)
    3 cans of Italian Style Stewed Tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar (or Red Wine Vinegar)
    Red Pepper Flakes & Parmesan Cheese to top

    Any kind of meat (optional)


Cook the pasta (you can use regular pasta or whole wheat, it doesn't matter which) according to the directions on the package.

In a separate pan, heat up the stewed tomatoes and balsamic vinegar.

When the pasta is done, drain and mix with tomatoes and vinegar. Top with some crushed red pepper and parm. cheese.

This can be modified to include meat (I add chicken or turkey sausage sometimes, and sometimes replace the balsamic vinegar with red wine vinegar).

I make the entire box of pasta and 3 cans of stewed tomatoes and re-heat as lunches during the week, but this recipe can be cut down depending on how much you want to make.
