    1-3/4 Cups Flour
    4 tsp Baking Powder
    1 tsp Salt
    1/3 Cup Margarine
    1 Cup Water or Milk (calculated with milk)


Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Cut in shortening or margarine until it appears the size of small peas and there is no loose flour mixture still to be cut in.
Stir in water or milk.
1 - Drop by overloaded tablespoonfuls on top of chicken pie or any other casserole, or,
2- Drop by overloaded tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet lined with foil or parchment.
Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes, until they begin to turn golden at the tips.

ALTERNATIVES: Turn these into cheese biscuits simply by adding grated cheddar cheese before adding the milk.
