Ingredients

    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. ground almonds
    1 lemon, juice and zest
    1 c. butter

    Mix all together, or make the traditional way, creaming sugar and butter, adding eggs, and rest of ingredients.
    Turn into greased loaf pan.

    Stir together 2 T. plain yogurt, 1 c. powdered sugar and juice from 1 lemon, adjusting to a thick glaze consistency.

Directions

Bake at 325 degrees for 45 min, testing for doneness and cooking longer if necessary. Watch carefully, as it browns fast toward the end of baking.

Cool, then drizzle with the powdered sugar, yogurt and lemon juice glaze.
