Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 onion, diced
    1 bell pepper, diced (I used green)
    Garlic (to taste)
    1 lb. Extra Lean Ground Beef (or turkey)
    salt & pepper to taste
    2 Cans Italian Diced tomatoes
    4 Cups (2 bags) Success Boil in Bag Brown Rice
    Cumin
    Nutmeg
    Chili Powder
    Garlic Powder
    Smoked Paprika
    Cinnamon
    Cilantro (if desired)

Directions

Saute Onions & Peppers in olive oil with salt & pepper until soft. Add garlic (to taste) and sauté for another minute. Add ground beef and brown through.
Add seasonings and diced tomatoes. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes to let the flavors work their way in. Add Rice and Mix well. Let it simmer another minute or two. Serve with a nice veggie.

Serving Size: 6 Good Size Servings
