Introduction

Ingredients

    put all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, stie to combine well.
    cube up the cold butter and rub into dry mix. continue to rub until the dry mix looks like damp breadcrumbs.
    add applesauce to dry mix.
    add enough milk until the dough forms a soft ball.

    roll out on a floured counter, roll out to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness, (thicker will make fewer scones)
    Cut out scones either with round cookie cutter or sharp knife.
    place on a lightly greased baking sheet, spray tops with canola oil or similar.
    bake for 10-15 mins, until bottoms brown slightly.

Directions

bake at 400F for 10-15 minutes
