Introduction

Ingredients

    2 (6-ounce) cans salmon, packed in water
    8 ounces no yolk egg noodles
    1 can low-fat cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1 t dried thyme
    3 cups fresh asparagus, cut into 1" pieces
    1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Boil noodles until done, then set aside. In a large bowl, combine the drained salmon, soup, milk, thyme, asparagus, and noodles. Pour into a greased 8 1/2 x 11 casserole dish.
Bake for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake another 10 minutes.

Makes 6 (1 cup) servings.

    Very good, even my husband had seconds. Added a few onion flake and some Cajun seasoning for a little kick, otherwise followed the recipe. Will make again. - 4/28/15

    Interesting idea would use noodles with whole egg to keep it healthy & use mushrooms & broth so to avoid the canned junk. - 5/15/19
