Introduction

Lentil rice burgers with cheese. Lentil rice burgers with cheese.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    *Brown Rice, long grain, 1 cup
    Lentils, 1 cup
    Carrots, raw, .25 cup, grated
    American Cheese, 4 slices
    Provolone Cheese, 4 slices
    Iceberg Lettuce, 4 leaf, large
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 4 slices, medium
    Onions, raw, 4 slices, thin
    Yellow Mustard, 4 tsp
    *Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil 0.5 tbsp
    Bread, wheat, 8 slices

Directions

Cook lentils and rice. Once cooked, put in a bowl to cool then mash. Add in grated carrots and spice to taste. Form into patties and place in the fridge or freezer until cooled. Put some olive oil in the skillet and cook until browned on both sides. Top with cheese. Serve with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard and mayo.
