    1lb Ground Beef
    1tbsp Seasoning salt
    2 packages of Betty Crocker Homestyle Instant Mashed Potatoes
    3/4c beef broth
    2tbsps flour
    2cups frozen mixed vegetables
    1cup grated cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.

Brown ground beef using preferred seasoning salt. I usually use Hy’s seasoning salt.

While browning beef, follow directions for the instant mashed potatoes. You can use really mashed if you have the time, but if you’re in a rush, using the instant is a real time saver. When you are finished mixing in the potatoes, add 1/4c of the grated cheddar cheese and stir. Put off to the side.

Drain ground beef and add the 2tbsps flour. Cook for 2 more min and let the flour brown. Add in the beef broth and the frozen vegetables. Cook covered for another 5 min.

Add the ground beef mixture to a casserole dish and layer the potatoes over top of the beef. Cook for 20 min and sprinkle the remainder of the cheese over top of the potatoes. Serve hot.
