    1 onion, chopped
    1 sweet potato, cube
    1 cup spinach
    4 medium carrots, sliced
    1 parsnip, sliced
    1 small winter squash, sliced
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 teaspoon salt


Layer vegetables in a pot with cover and add water and salt. Bring to a boil, turn down, and cook covered on very low heat for at least an hour.
