Introduction

Log Cabin's new All Natural Pancake mix has some whole wheat flour, but I wanted to increase the fibver and whole grains, so I expreimented with using a half cup of the mix and a half cup whole wheat flour, instead of 1 cup of the mix. It worked great and tasted wonderful. Ingredients



    Log Cabin All Natural Pancake Mix, .5 cup
    *100% Whole Wheat Flour, 0.5 cup
    *100% Pure Vegetable Oil, 1 tbsp
    Milk, 1%, .33 cup
    Water, tap, .5 cup (8 fl oz)


Directions

Combine all ingredients, mix quickly with fork or chopsticks. Don't overmix -- a little bit lumpy is fine.

Pour approx. 6" pancakes into pan sprayed with nonstick spray, cook a few minutes on each side over medium heat. Flip over when bubbles appear on uncooked side.

Serving Size: Makes 4 6-7" pancakes.
