Ingredients

    1/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp nutmeg ( I prefer pumpkin or apple pie spice)
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 2/3 cup King Arthur all purpose flour
    1 cup milk

    3T melted butter
    3T cinnamon sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease muffin tin. If paper liners are used, be sure to spray those with cooking spray as well.
In a medium bowl cream fats and sugars. Beat in eggs. Stir in leavening and seasonings. Stir in flour and milk, alternating and blending well.
Spoon batter evenly between 12 muffin cups.
Bake 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown and a cake tester comes clean. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before brushing with melted butter and sprinkling with cinnamon sugar.
