    1 cup of low fat mayo
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 cup parmesan cheese
    1 tbsp dill
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    Paprika and black pepper to taste
    1 skin on salmon fillet
    1 whole sliced onion


I find that the onions on the bottom of the fish helps absorb some of the fishy smell if there's any.
I like making this fish on a cookie sheet because it makes it more crispy. If you want a more juicy salmon the glass 9x13 pan may work better.


Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine all ingredients (except salmon and onions) in a bowl. Place half of the onions on a lightly oiled cookie sheet or glass pan ( I Prefer the cookie sheet). Place salmon, skin side down on the layer of onions. Spread the mayo mix evenly covering the fillet. Sprinkle pepper and paprika then lay the remaining onions in a single layer on top of the salmon.
Bake on 400 f for 25 - 35 minutes or until fish easily flakes with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
