    2 t. VANILLA
    4 EGG WHITES, LIGHTLY BEATEN
    1 C. ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
    1/2 C. WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
    1 C. COCOA

Directions

DO NOT SKIP THIS FIRST STEP--DRAIN APPLESAUCE IN FINE SIEVE FOR 15 MIN. HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. DISCARD LIQUID FROM APPLESAUCE. ADD SUGAR, VANILLA, AND EGG WHITES; STIR WELL. LIGHTLY SPPON FLOUR INTO DRY MEASURING CUP AND LEVEL WITH A KNIFE. COMBINE FLOURS, COCOA STIRRING WELL WITH A WHISH. ADD TO APPLESAUCE MIXTURE, STIR JUST UNTIL MOIST. PLACE INTO A 13 X9 BAKING PAN SPRAYED WITH COOKING SPRAY. BAKE 45 MIN. COOL ON A WIRE RACK
