Ingredients

    *1 can Great Northern Beans
*1 can Swanson's 99% fat free chicken broth
*1/2 cup Classico Sun-Dried Tomato Alfredo Sauce
    *3 TBS Hormel Bacon Bits

A nice, simple soup drawn from ingredients most people have on hand. One serving is about 6oz. Designed by a Gastric By-Pass patient for higher protein, lower fat and carbs and tolerable even in the first stages of recovery.

Directions

Open all cans and rinse beans well. Dump beans into a pan, mash with a potato masher to the consistancy you want, add broth, Alfredo sauce- adjust this to taste- some people think more makes for a creamier soup. Add bacon bits, stir until heated through. Makes about 4- 6 oz servings
