Introduction

Ingredients

    Equal amounts Carrots & Rutabaga (or adjust ratio to taste)
    2 (or 145g) Carrots, peeled and sliced
    145g Rutabaga, peeled and cubed
    4 tsps Butter (adjust to taste)
    1 Tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk (or other milk or cream)
    Dash or so ground Nutmeg
    Salt & Pepper

Tips

The Rutabaga may start to be cooked first if it will take longer to soften than the Carrots.
Maybe try adding some Ginger and/or a little Brown Sugar.


Directions

Bring small amount of salted water to boil.
Add in the Carrots and Rutabaga and cook until tender enough to mash.
Drain the water, add Butter, Milk, Nutmeg, and Salt & Pepper to taste. Mash until as chunky or smooth as you like it.
