Ingredients

Equal amounts Carrots & Rutabaga (or adjust ratio to taste)

The Rutabaga may start to be cooked first if it will take longer to soften than the Carrots.
Maybe try adding some Ginger and/or a little Brown Sugar.

Bring small amount of salted water to boil.
Add in the Carrots and Rutabaga and cook until tender enough to mash.
Drain the water, add Butter, Milk, Nutmeg, and Salt & Pepper to taste. Mash until as chunky or smooth as you like it.
