Hearty Soup Hearty Soup

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups whole wheat pasta
    8 ounces cube steak
    1 TBS olive oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 large green pepper, chopped
    14 ounces diced tomatoes
    2 1/2 cups water
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar
    1 to 2 tsp paprika
    1 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp caraway seed
    1/4 tsp pepper
    2 TBS whole wheat flour
    1/4 cup cold water

Directions

Brown beef, onion, and green pepper in oil. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the flour and 1/4 cup water. Simmer until pasta is tender. Mix flour and water and add, bring to a simmer and cook until thickened.
