Ingredients

    1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
    1 cup Pacific Natural Foods Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth
    4 fl oz Water
    0.5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    0.2 tsp smoked paprika
    0.1 tsp Onion powder
    0.1 tsp Garlic powder
    1 cup Peas, frozen
    0.25 cup Water chestnuts slices, drained

Directions

combine first seven ingredients into rice steamer. Steam rice for 30 minutes. While rice is cooking, parboil peas. When rice is finished cooking, add peas and drained water chestnut slices. Serve with a bit of pickled ginger on the side, if preferred.
