Introduction

Cold brewed for two days from dry flowers with a little agave to take the edge off the tartness. Cold brewed for two days from dry flowers with a little agave to take the edge off the tartness.

Ingredients

    1 cup dried hibiscus (jamaica) flowers
    1 quart purified water

    3 TB agave nectar

Tips

Can also be steep with boiling water, like regular tea.


Directions

Place tea in 1 quart water and put in fridge for two days. Strain tea into fresh container and discard flowers (or they can be stewed and eaten in a variety of ways). Sweeten with agave nectar or sweetener of choice.
