Ingredients

    1/2 c red quinoa
    1/2 c red lentils
    1 c brown rice- (only had instant today)
    2 c chopped steamed asparagus
    All dry ingredients measured before cooking.

    Season to taste: cumin, pepper, basil etc

Tips

To prepare quinoa; rinse for 15 minutes with generous amount of water, strain, then bring to boil in water (twice the amount as quinoa) then simmer 15-20 minutes until water is absorbed. Cool in fridge OR rinse gently in cold water if you don't feel like waiting.


Directions

Cook each of the things.
I added I bouillon cube to the rice water.
Combine, season, chill.

Serving Size: Makes 6 1 cup servings (loosely measured; barely 6 c)
