Introduction

Easy cobbler with yellow cake mix topping. Easy cobbler with yellow cake mix topping.
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    2 1/2 c. fresh blackberries
    1 T. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 T. water
    1 box Jiffy Yellow Cake Mix
    3/4 stick butter
    1/4 c. pecans

Tips

Bet you can't eat it without vanilla ice cream on top!
(Any yellow cake mix will work. And any fruit will work, too--peaches are wonderful!)


Directions

Mash 1/2 of the berries. Add water, cornstarch, sugar, and rest of whole berries. Bring to a boil. Put all in the bottom of 8 x 8 greased baking dish. Put cake mix on top. Dot with butter shavings. Top with pecan pieces.
Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Delish
