    1 cup cottage cheese
    1 onion; chopped
    1 cup crushed cracker crumbs
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    6 eggs; beaten
    1 package George Washington broth (or beef broth cube - not prepared)
    1/2 teaspoon sage
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (reduced fat)
    2 (4 oz) cans mushrooms (or 8 oz. fresh sauteed mushrooms)


Combine all the ingredients except soup and mushrooms. Slowly drop by spoonful in a hot frying pan (over medium heat) that's been coated with cooking spary. Brown on each side. Makes about 16 patties. Place in casserole dish and cover with soup and mushrooms. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through.
