Possibly the most delicious spag bol EVER! Possibly the most delicious spag bol EVER!
Number of Servings: 4


    1 onion (finely chopped)
    2 sticks of celery (finely chopped)
    1 pepper (mixed if possible and diced)
    2 cans of chopped tomatoes
    400g minced/ground lean beef
    3tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 glass of red wine
    Mixed herbs
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    Parmesan cheese to garnish

    200g spaghetti


Boil a large pan of water for spaghetti, add salt if desired.

Add to a skillet the onions and celery, add water to prevent sticking. When the onions are translucent, add the ground/minced beef. Brown off the beef. Add tomatoes, peppers, worcestershire sauce, wine and seasoning. (i prefer herbs de province). Cook for around 10 minutes. Then add spaghetti to boiling water. Cook spaghetti according to pack instructions. Drain and serve. Add parmeasan if desired to garnish. Enjoy!

  • Good recipe. Add garlic, diced mushrooms and onions to make dish go further. (I fry these ingredients first, in a little low fat oil, before adding). - 3/5/10
