    1-Tbls. cornstarch
    1-Tbls. cold water
    12-packets sweet and low
    1/2- Cup soy sauce
    1/4-Cup cider vinegar
    1/2-tsp. bottled minced garlic
    1/4-tsp black pepper
    1/2-tsp dry ginger


I also added 1/4 cup more water while heating through, so that the meat and sauce don't scorch.


In a medium sauce pan,combine sweet and low,soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. while sauce is heating, combine corn starch and cold water, mixing well. when sauce comes to a full boil, add cornstarch mixture and stir until sauce is thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat. At this point you can use as a marinade or in a stir fry dish. I used in a stir fry dish of eight ounces of leftover pork loin roast (julienne) strips trimmed of all fat,and two cups of frozen stir fry vegetables(simmered in a covered pot until heated through) and it was very tasty.
