    I used homemade chicken bone broth, one can pork and beans, one bun length polish sausage link, one medium yukon potato, 1/4 medium onion, 3 cups of raw mixed greens (spinach, kale and red cabbage), a pinch each of hot dried green chili flakes and dried oregano.


I diced the onion and potato and simmered them in the broth until tender. I sliced the sausage and added it with the can of pork and beans and the pinches of oregano and green chili. When it began to simmer again, I chopped up the greens and added them, simmering just until soft. Garnish with a dash of Parmesan cheese if desired

Serving Size: Makes 6 cups
