    2 cups warm water
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 tsp salt
    1 egg
    1/4 cup ground flaxseed
    3 cups whole wheat flour
    3 cup white flour
    2 tbsp dry yeast

    2 Tbsp light margarine
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp ground cinnamon

    1 cup powdered sugar


Add ingredients as directed for your breadmaker. Set for dough cycle. (Or mix, knead and let rise by hand). Spray counter with cooking spray. Roll out dough to approximately 18 inches by 24 inches. Cut dough in half (so you have two sections each measuring about 12 inches by 18 inches).

Spread 1/2 Tbsp of margarine on each section of dough. Sprinkle each section with 2 Tbsp brown sugar and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon (you can use more or less depending on your taste). Roll up like a jelly roll and place each section in a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes (or until golden brown). Remove from pan and cool on a cooling rack.

Add enough water to make a glaze for the bread. Spread on loaves while they are still warm.

Nutrition is figured for 1 slice of bread with each loaf being sliced into 12 pieces.
