    Put 2 1/2 cups berries in a bowl with 3/4 cup sugar, stir and cover, let stand 1/2 an hour. After 20 minutes, set the oven to preheat to 350*F. Mix one cup flour with 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 cup dry powdered milk. Stir in one cup water. Melt 3/4 stick butter in a glass baking dish, swirl around to coat, pour all the butter you can into the flour mixture, stir until smooth, pour mixture into the buttered pan. Sprinkle the sweetened berries over the batter. Bake for 45 minutes. The batter will bubble up thru the berries to form a crust. Serve with warm fat free half and half of a dollop of lite Coolwhip


Bake at 350F for 45 minutes, cool 15 minutes before serving
