Tips
The original recipe called for 1/2 unsalted butter. I reduced the butter from 8T to 3T, using salted butter, and reduced the amount of salt added.
Directions
Combine flour, baking powder, salt. In separate bowl, melt butter and add Splenda and egg whites. Add dry ingredients and whisk until the batter is smooth with no lumps.
Spread in 8x4" greased load pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. To brown the top, turn oven on low broil until desired golden brown color is achieved.
Cool on rack.
