I have used apple filling and peach filling. Both were very tasty. I have used apple filling and peach filling. Both were very tasty.
Number of Servings: 24


    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 cake pan.

    Cream together:
    1/2 cup shortening
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup sugar, added gradually

    Beat in:
    2 eggs
    2 cups flour, added gradually

    Reserve 1/2 cup. Spread remaining amount in pan.

    Spread 1 can of pie filling over. Dot with small pieces of the remaining dough. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden.


Bake for 49 minutes at 350 degrees
