Introduction

I hated sprouts as a child, and as an adult, this is the way I make them and I love them! I hated sprouts as a child, and as an adult, this is the way I make them and I love them!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/2 pound brussel sprouts, cleaned and sliced lengthwise
    2 gloves garlic, chopped
    1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    zest and juice of half a lemon
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

In a bowl, combine sprouts, garlic, olive oil, lemon zest and juice, salt and pepper. Use hand to toss well.

Spread mixture on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12-1 minutes, or until sprouts shrink slightly and appear slightly charred on the outside.

Taste for done-ness and cook slightly longer for a more cooked sprout if desired.

Serving Size: Serves 2 people
