Ingredients

    4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
    cup butter (1.5 sticks)
    4 extra large eggs
    1 cups sugar, white or brown or a combination
    ⅛ teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup hazelnut meal
    1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
    cup chopped hazelnuts (optional)

Directions

Grease a 9x13 cake pan and preheat oven to 325oF. Melt chocolate and butter together and set aside. Beat eggs, sugar, salt together with mixer or hand whisk. Stir in chocolate mixture, then vanilla, then hazelnut meal. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts if used, leaving a bit of hazelnuts to sprinkle on top. Pour into pan and bake for 45-55 minutes. Cool in the pan and then cut into 1 squares.
