    1 lb squash
    1 onion
    1 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    14 saltine crackers
    1 c. cheddar cheese
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/4 stick butter


Cook squash, onoin, sugar and salt until tender. Drain. Add crackers, cheese, eggs, milk and butter. Place in greased 1.5 qt casserole. Place casserole in pan of water and bake at 400* for about and hour or until set.
