Ingredients

    2- lbs. stew meat
    2-tbsp kikoman low sodium soy sauce
    1-raw onion(med.) coarsely chopped
    1-medium green pepper coarsely chopped
    2-cups water
    2-cans mushrooms stems and pieces(4 oz. each)
    2-cans Chinese vegetables(15 oz. each)
    2-tbsp bottled garlic
    1-tsp salt
    1/4-tsp pepper
    2-tbsp cornstarch(mixed with 3 tbsp water
    1-1/2- cup sweet molasses

Directions

Brown stew meat in a large pot.When browned drain and set aside.In the same pot, saute the onion and garlic until soft an translucent. Transfer to a large crock pot and add all the rest of the ingredients except cornstarch and water and stir.Cook on high for six hours.The last hour add the cornstarch/water mixture and stir.If it is not thick enough add more cornstarch/water mixture. serve over cooked rice

Serving Size: makes about 10-1 cup servings
