Ingredients

    5 fresh dates, pitted and chopped
    5 fresh figs, chopped
    1 tsp coconut oil
    1/8 tsp ground cardamom
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2 cup water

Directions

In a fry-pan, heat the oil over medium heat until melted. Add the dates and figs, stirring constantly until softened. Add the cardamom, cinnamon and water. Stir and cook until consistency is thick, adding more water if necessary.

Serves 6 (1 Tbsp each).
