Ingredients

    3c sliced carrots
    1 Tbsp margarine
    2 Tbsp maple syrup
    Spices:
    Cinnamon, garlic, nutmeg, cardamom, salt, to taste

Directions

Cover carrots (barely) with water. Boil covered a few minutes to lightly soften them. Uncover and simmer to reduce liquid. Add other ingredients and finish reducing liquid.
