Indian style stuffed puff pastry, spicy not sweet. Indian style stuffed puff pastry, spicy not sweet.
Number of Servings: 4


    * Peas, frozen, 0.10 cup
    * Onions, raw, .10 cup, chopped
    * *Cumin seed, .5 tsp
    * Olive Oil, 1 1tsp
    * Salt, 1 dash ve)
    * Turmeric, ground, .5 tsp
    * Red Potato, .75 grams
    * Puff pastry, frozen, ready-to-bake, 4 oz
    * Pepper, red or cayenne, .5 tsp


Cut potatoes. Bring water to boil and cook the cut potatoes for about 10 minutes. Also add peas into the boiling water for about 5 minutes.

1. In a skillet add olive oil and cumin seeds.
2. Once cumin seeds have popped add onions and saute for about 3 minutes.
3. Add potatoes and peas and saute for about 2 minutes.
4. Add spices (according to taste, you can always add more later) and saute for about 5 minutes.

Since the potatoes have already been cooked the mixture shouldn't take long to cook. Mixture should be dry once cooked. Let mixture cool for about 20 minutes before continuing.

5. Get puff pastry ready and lay mixture on pasty and roll to close seems. (you can cut the puff pasty into four pieces to make individual servings)

6. Bake in a preheated oven (temp. and time should be according to puff pastry cooking directions)

Ready to eat. My family like to eat it with yogurt.
