    2 Cups Old Fashioned Oats,(steelcut) uncooked
    cup granular Splenda
    cup Raisins
    teaspoon ground Cinnamon
    teaspoon Salt
    2 cups 1% milk
    cup nonfat and
    cup sugar free Maple Syrup
    4 egg whites, lightly beaten
    2 Tablespoons Margarine, melted
    2 teaspoons Vanilla

    1 Tablespoon brown Sugar
    1 Tablespoon granular Splenda
    teaspoon ground Cinnamon


In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, splenda raisins, cinnamon, and salt.
In a medium bowl, combine milk and maple syrup, egg white, margarine, and vanilla.
Add milk mixture to dry mixture and stir.
Pour into greased 1 quart souffle dish and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle on the oatmeal and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes or until center puffs slightly and is firm to the touch.

We use steel cut oats for a more course texture or even a mixture of steel cut and rolled oats if we don't have enough of one or the other.
