Introduction

Easy to prepare and flavorful alternative to bottled dressing. Easy to prepare and flavorful alternative to bottled dressing.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 carrot, medium, rough cut
    2 tbs fresh ginger chopped
    1 tsp brown sugar packed
    2 tbs rice vinegar ( unseasoned)
    1 tsp fresh lemon juice
    2 tsp low sodium soy sauce
    2 tsp sesame oil
    1 cup water

Directions

1. Cooks rough cut carrot and 1 cup of water until tender....about 15 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, put all other ingredients in blender.
3. Remove cooked carrot and half cup of water in which it was cooked. Process ingredients in blender until smooth.
Add pinch of salt and store in refrigerator.

Serving Size: Make 8 servings...2 tbs per serving
