Ingredients

    Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, 1/3 c.
    Ground Cinnamon, 1 tsp.
    Sliced Almonds, 1/4 c.
    Cary's Sugar Free Syrup, 1/2 c., divided
    Stick Margarine, 3 Tbsp.
    Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk biscuits, canned, 8 servings

Tips

As a diabetic, I am always looking for alternatives to high carb foods. This recipe easily fits into my limited carb count.


Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 10" round baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Mix brown sugar blend, cinnamon and almonds in a bowl and set aside. Pour one half of melted butter and one half of syrup in dish. Sprinkle one half of cinnamon sugar mixture over syrup and butter.

Place biscuits in a single layer in dish. Pour remainder of syrup and butter over biscuits. Sprinkle remainder of cinnamon sugar mixture over top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until biscuits are golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 1 minute, then flip onto serving dish.

Serving Size: Makes 8 Sticky Buns (8 servings)
